CIGNEX Datamatics Corporation (formerly CIGNEX Global Holding Corp.) is a subsidiary of Datamatics Global Services Ltd.
 
CIGNEX Datamatics was founded in Santa Clara, CA in 2000, by a team of entrepreneurs dedicated to Making Open Source Work for Enterprises. Over the years, we have helped enterprises migrate to Open Source technologies across Enterprise Content Management, Portals & Social Collaboration, e-commerce, Business Intelligence and ERP through a proven Open Source adoption methodology. Combining best practices from over 200 successful engagements, with the combined knowledge of over 500 years of consulting experience in the management team, we have developed a powerful, flexible approach to architecting and deploying Enterprise Solutions based on Open Source technologies.
 
With the increasing adoption of Open Source technologies globally, CIGNEX Datamatics identified the need to extend its offerings to,

  • support the existing proprietary tools and technologies of its clients to facilitate a seamless migration to Open Source solutions
  • seamlessly integrate Open Source solutions with existing Enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, LMS, etc.
  • incorporate functional domain expertise to roll out Open Source ERP solutions
  • extend the Enterprise applications to mobile devices and social media tools to improve collaboration and productivity

With the above objectives in mind, CIGNEX Datamatics acquired AGS Technologies, an SAP and Open Source ERP Consulting organization providing end-to-end Implementations, Integration, Migration, Optimization, Maintenance & Support services, in 2010.
 
In the year 2011, CIGNEX became a part of Datamatics, a public listed company. Combined synergies provide CIGNEX Datamatics a platform to grow faster, provide wider solution offering to clients and access to large enterprises for deploying Open Source solutions. The breadth of IT offerings provided by Datamatics enables CIGNEX Datamatics to undertake significantly larger engagements providing end-to-end IT solutions and taking client relationship to the next level.

As an SAP authorized services partner, we have developed focused competency on SAP Upgrades, e-Sourcing and Spend Analytics, SAP Interactive Forms and Workflow by Adobe and Sybase Enterprise Mobility platform.
 
As a part of our efforts to improve ROI for our clients, we offer best sourcing execution model. Based on the project needs, we provide our clients options of Onsite, Near-site & Offshore locations for cost-effective execution of the projects. The offshore option has enabled us to develop a continuous (and sizeable) pool of trained and experienced Open Source professionals. The team is constantly identifying and evaluating Open Source tools and products that meet the key criteria to be considered an Enterprise-class solution. Some of the Accelerators developed by us include Contract Lifecycle Management, Migration Toolkit from Documentum to Alfresco and Document Management System (CIGNEX DMS).
