Navin Nagiah
Chief Executive Officer
Navin V. Nagiah is a senior business executive with extensive marketing, strategy, and operational experience in high-technology enterprises in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Navin was the founder, president, and CEO of Xisource, a San Francisco-based enterprise software company with offices in London and Mumbai. Before Xisource, he was one of the founding employees of Internet Securities Inc. He set up the India, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asian operations of the company and was the managing director for Asia at the time of the company's $60 million merger with Euromoney (LSE Symbol: ERM). He also has extensive experience as a board member/advisor of pre-IPO companies. Navin holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.

Rajeev Srivastava
Board Member
Co-founder of Pittsburgh-based Apar Infotech, Rajeev brings over 18 years of IT operational experience, as well as an Engineering degree and a Master's Degree in Management Studies, to his demanding role as the company's CEO. Under Rajeev's leadership, Apar Infotech has received numerous awards for its rapid growth in the national and international IT market. Rajeev was also recognized as a finalist in the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 1999. Rajeev is an active investor and on the board of a number of other IT and technology-driven companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pac.

Amit Babaria, Vice President of Sales

Amit Babaria heads the Sales and Marketing team of CIGNEX. He has done a great job in bringing in sales revenue consistently YOY since the company's inception more than 7 years ago. Before co-founding CIGNEX, he worked in the Sales organization of a Professional Services firm in the Silicon Valley - where he excelled with over 300% sales growth during each of the years he worked there. He was awarded the first 'Star of the Year' award in the history of the company for his accomplishments. He started his career in India as one of the youngest minds to manage a largest ever National Readership Survey in the world. Amit has 13 years of total Sales / Business Development / Market Research experience. Amit has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai and an MBA in Marketing from JBIMS, Mumbai.

Harish Ramachandran, Vice President of Pre-sales & Alliances

Harish Ramachandran has been a key contributor in the CIGNEX sales team since taking on a lead role in Pre-sales. At CIGNEX, since inception, he has played several roles - starting with delivering successful solutions, practice management and now as the head of Pre-sales. He was instrumental in CIGNEX raising expansion capital in 2006 playing a key role throughout the process of financial and business diligence. His passion for Enterprise Content Management drives him to seek opportunities to be an active practitioner - especially in ECM strategy, planning and scoping phases. Prior to co-founding CIGNEX, Harish served as technical lead and program manager at Cisco systems and Click Commerce. Harish has over 15 years of experience spanning areas such as solutions consulting, project delivery and product development largely in the Financial Services industry. He has a Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering from Bangalore University, India.

Shomit Ghose
Board Observer

Shomit Ghose joined ONSET Ventures in 2001 after 19 years working at high-tech companies in the Silicon Valley. At ONSET Ventures, Shomit mentors and provides management resources to portfolio companies to maximize their success. He focuses on software, networking, and infrastructure companies. Throughout his career, he has participated in several successful IPOs, including those of Sun Microsystems and BroadVision. Most recently, Shomit was Senior Vice President of Operations at Tumbleweed Communications, where he managed the marketing, professional services, applications engineering, and corporate development departments. He helped the company through a successful IPO in 1999. Previously, he was Vice President of the Worldwide Professional Services Organization at BroadVision and helped that company through a successful IPO in 1996.

Shomit began his career as a network protocol engineer at Metaphor Computer Systems, a company acquired by IBM. Later, he was an engineer in the original pre-IPO software development team at Sun Microsystems. He has also been Director of Marketing and then Director of Asia/Pacific Operations for nCUBE, a manufacturer of video-on-demand servers, and a board member of Alier, a data integration software company that is now part of webMethods. Shomit was accepted to the University of California, Berkeley, at age 15. He graduated in 1982 with a degree in Computer Science.
