SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2006--Cignex, the deployment leader in open source consulting and software services, today named Mike Walker as Vice President of Consulting Services. In this new role, Walker will oversee Cignex's Global Delivery team and will report into CEO Navin Nagiah.

Walker brings more than 15 years of consulting experience from firms including KPMG, Accenture and Ernst & Young Cap Gemini America to his responsibilities at Cignex. During his tenure at KPMG, Walker managed the IT Strategy and Architecture Practice, where he spearheaded successful projects in the financial services industry. Recently, Walker served as the Deployment Manager of Professional Services at Netegrity Inc., now part of CA.
Walker's enterprise consulting experience is complemented by his deep technical expertise. He offers an extensive background in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and is a Sun Certified J2EE architect.
